We're growing rapidly and looking for an amazing and experienced VP to run our marketing program.Tipsy Putt is a growing, unique drinkertainment restaurant with multiple locations throughout Northern California. We offer a large rotating local beer, wine and cocktail selection, indoor mini golf, a multitude of other unique pub games and a vibe that makes you want to let loose. Tipsy Putt is not only party central but also strives to be a positive contributor to the community by supporting local independent brewers, local small businesses, and local charities. About this role:We currently have locations throughout Northern California and we are expanding in other markets. This role will require intermittent travel to Tipsy Putt locations. Experience and Credentials:1. 15 years minimum progressively experience in Accounting and Finance2. BS Degree in Accounting; MBA is helpful as long as it supplements the strategiccredentials to a rock solid Accounting foundation3. Big 4 or well-known CPA firm audit roles at least 3 years4. Controller or Head of Finance roles in in a company of at least $20 million inannual sales5. Have had career experience as a hands-on Accountant, Accounting Manager orController6. Demonstrated excellent in accrual accounting principles, GAAP vs tax basisreporting;7. Experienced in accounting in multiple LLC organization (“Parent/ sub and/ orSister LLCs”) , as well as multi-location books and operations (separateBalance sheets and P&Ls) for each LLC and Each location8. Deep knowledge of Accounting Operations and processes; accountreconciliations and substantiation of all balance sheet accounts9. Deep understanding of cash management, including, billing collections, realestate leases, debt, strong in A/R and A/P, payroll processing (hourly and salarysemi-monthly)10. Some experience in business and planning experience, including directlypreparing budgets, strategic plans, decision support models, such as pricing,location economic models11. Experience in monthly inventory counts, costing and recording by location, realestate leases, construction and leasehold improvementsJob function:1. This is a very hands on position which will either supervise and still totally ownthemselves , or directly do all accounting and reporting tasks.2. Determine the optimal cost effective finance and accounting organization andlevels or plan to outsource as applicable3. Maintain accurate books including fully substantiated, fully reconciled, GAAPcompliant all balance sheet accounts each month end, after any residual cleanup and elimination of issues4. Close books fully and accurately in 10 days; revenue flash by day 4; usingaccruals to accurately account for late invoices5. Ensure that all bank, credit card, payroll and daily sales transactions arerecorded in daily (sales) or weekly batches and reconciled to source documentsduring the month to streamline close (AP, Payroll, collections)6. Maintain a proper data base of all accounting reconciliations, payroll reports andback up supporting each close7. Prepare semi- annual budgets and monthly update forecasts, monthly varianceanalysis shared and vetted with Management8. Develop key metrics and dashboard, particularly at the level of each individualLocation for clear P&Ls by Location9. Manage payroll, cash disbursements, cash receipts, daily sales recording10. Assist any new equity investments or debt11. Assist in preparing Board packages12. Ad-hoc requests by CEO or others on Management team13. This is not meant to be the entire scope of work, but the main function. There will likely be more items in your areas of responsibility.Employee Compensation & Benefits:
