Relay is entering an exciting new chapter of growth and we're looking for a VP of Finance to help us scale our Finance engine. This is a unique opportunity to lead our financial operations and shape our financial strategy as we grow. You will work closely with our leadership team to provide insights that drive our business decisions and optimize our financial performance.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Develop and implement the financial strategy, focusing on growth, profitability, and operational efficiency

* Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes and provide strategic insights to inform key business decisions

* Collaborate with investors, board members, and our leadership team to communicate financial performance and strategic plans

* Manage the planning and reporting cadence across the business to ensure financial visibility and alignment

* Maintain the budget and ensure related processes are efficient and effective

* Forecast revenue growth for new product lines

* Build and lead a high-performing finance team

Who You Are:

* You have 8+ years of finance leadership experience, preferably in a fintech or SMB SaaS environment, and can navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of scaling in this space

* You have strong FP&A and strategic finance skills, specifically within a usage/consumption-based model

* You've scaled companies to $50M-$100M+ in annual revenue and have a proven track record of success

* You love partnering with leadership teams to allocate capital, drive efficiency, and manage trade-offs

* You bring experience in operational finance (reporting, accounting, budgeting, tax, etc.)

* You excel in your communication and storytelling, both written and verbal, and can break down complex financial data into actionable insights

* You're intellectually curious and can approach problems from a first-principles lens
