Job Description:

A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team as their new VP of Health Services.Responsibilities:The VP of Health Services will:

  • Provide supervision and oversee the Health Service Team (Including Director of Nursing & Assistant Director)
  • Oversee Article 29-l application and implementation, collaborating on Electronic Health Record development
  • Maintain Article 29-I facilities in compliance with State requirements
  • Ensure compliance with city, state, and federal regulations
  • Serve on the Compliance and Incident Risk Management committee, guiding health standards for participants and employees
  • Update health services policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes and Trauma Informed Care principles, educating staff on infection control policies
  • Manage Medicaid budgets in coordination with Finance Department and administrators
  • Collaborate with Medicaid Quality Assurance Department for continuous health and behavioral care review and documentation compliance
  • Develop and deliver health-related training for staff and participants, including family life and sex education for youth in care
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a related setting (Child Welfare, Foster Care, Social Services, etc.)
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience and in depth knowledge of Child Welfare and/or Foster Care
  • Must have proven Nursing Administrative experience with Electronic Health Records
  • Proven experience with Clinical Pediatrics
  • Strong interest in working with children/adolescents of Underserved communities
  • Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access)
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skins (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with Medicaid Manage Care
