Position Summary:The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive HR strategy to meet the needs of a dynamic Senior Living Facility. This role emphasizes building a high-performing workforce, driving innovation through HR technology, and leading recruitment and retention initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of HR will collaborate with leadership to create a culture of excellence, engagement, and growth while supporting the mission and values of the organization.Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational goals, emphasizing workforce optimization, employee satisfaction, and leadership development.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention:Lead innovative recruitment strategies and retention programs to attract and retain top talent in clinical, administrative, and support roles.
- Employee Benefits Administration:Oversee health insurance programs, workers' compensation claims, and employee leave processes, including FMLA, ensuring seamless and compliant administration.
- HR Technology:Implement and optimize HR systems to streamline operations, improve employee experiences, and provide actionable workforce analytics.
- Employee Engagement:Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning through engagement programs and leadership development initiatives.
- Workforce Planning:Align staffing strategies with organizational needs, ensuring efficient workforce planning and succession readiness for key roles.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 5-10 years of HR leadership experience preferred, with a proven track record in strategic HR management, talent acquisition, and workforce development.Demonstrated experience with HR technology implementation and optimization.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.Expertise in designing and executing innovative recruitment and retention strategies.Proven ability to drive organizational culture initiatives and foster an engaged workforce.Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
