This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational background and a commitment to continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:
o Oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficient production processes and alignment with company goals.o Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
o Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.o Monitor production schedules, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
o Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.o Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
o Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.o Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions through Lean manufacturing and other methodologies.o Lead initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency across the facility.
- Budgeting & Financial Management:
o Prepare and manage the annual budget for the plant, tracking expenses and implementing cost-saving measures as necessary.o Analyze financial reports to make informed operational decisions.
o Work closely with other departments, including supply chain, engineering, and sales, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.o Foster strong relationships with suppliers and external partners.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, with a proven track record of managing complex operations.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
