Required) DescriptionOur client, a leader in automation manufacturing, is seeking a VP of Operations to join their team in Farmingdale, NY, on Long Island. You will oversee and optimize end-to-end operations across Production, Project Management, Purchasing, and Engineering, managing ten direct reports. Reporting to the President, you'll use your mechanical or industrial engineering background-ideally with OEM and metal fabrication experience-to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and cost control. Qualified candidates will have an engineering degree, 5+ years in manufacturing operations leadership, and ERP and lean practice experience. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project handoffs, from engineering to production, supporting the delivery of custom equipment to clients. Required) Responsibilities Lead operations, ensuring projects meet timelines and budget targets Oversee project managers, production, and technical service teams Oversee design and production of custom OEM equipment Drive process improvements, including lean manufacturing initiatives Maintain ERP systems, data integrity, and inventory accuracy Manage budgets, cost controls, and expense reports Oversee sales cycle from handoff to completion Coordinate resources to meet customer needs Manage shop personnel, including training, hiring, etc. Collaborate closely with production team Work with engineering to develop and implement client solutions Run Hand-off process from sales to operation Review technical outcomes for continuous improvementVP of Operations (Equipment Manufacturing Exp.
