Join us and be a part of a forward-thinking company that values growth, excellence, and the success of our clients.Fullsteam is seeking a growth-oriented, collaborative VP of Operations to lead operations for Recur360 and NumberCruncher, two business units within our inventory management vertical.Recur360 is a leader in recurring payments automation and managed hosting. In the hosting space, they provide clients with a highly secure and stable environment to run a more efficient business with Recur360's hosting services. The recurring payments offering enables customers to set up their entire recurring invoicing, subscriptions and accounts receivable, complete with dashboards, integrated reporting and specialized automations for an efficient cash flow and revenue management experience.NumberCruncher is a leading provider of inventory and order management software for the QuickBooks community. Founded in 1999, NumberCruncher was the first developer to invest in the QuickBooks SDK (software development kit) from Intuit. Our mission is to provide innovative, scalable, and cost-effective inventory management solutions that solve real world business issues, resulting in total customer satisfaction, increased profitability and competitive advantage.This will be a hybrid role based in our Buckhead, GA office.Job Summary:The VP of Operations will drive both organic and cross-sell growth initiatives, lead a distributed cross-functional team, and own the overall performance of the organization. The ideal candidate is a business-savvy leader, with SAAS experience and a partnerships GTM focus, who loves to take ownership and drive results, bringing creativity, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of growing businesses. The candidate would have experience in GTM strategy, improving operations, expertise in creating key partnerships to drive and grow business, and thinking creatively to drive new avenues of growth.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Vision and Execution: Collaborate with the Vertical President and product development team to set and translate the company's strategic vision into planning, budgeting, and actionable goals, then lead execution.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with Product, Operations, Customer Support, Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure goals and targets are met, delivering excellent service and value to customers and partners.
  • Growth and Commercialization: Lead growth and commercialization activities and initiatives, including supporting large sales opportunities, engaging with customers, representing the company at trade events, and identifying and driving partnership opportunities. They will also be responsible for setting up the framework for cross-selling and identifying new GTM strategies.
  • Operational Excellence: Represent the company in regular strategic, operational, and other planning cycles including budgeting, capacity planning, financial planning, etc. Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and review monthly financials with the Vertical/Group President and key stakeholders. Own P&L and ensure the financial health of the company.
  • Shared Services Integration: Collaborate with corporate teams across HR, IT, InfoSec, FP&A, and other groups to support or integrate shared services and operational best practices to optimize business performance.
  • Talent Management: Attract and retain top talent; coach, mentor, and develop your team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and refine KPIs to provide visibility and insight into organizational performance and execution. Monitor, measure, and report on opportunities, challenges, and development plans designed to meet and exceed company objectives.
Skills & Competencies:
  • An organized self-starter with strong critical and strategic thinking abilities. Proven P&L ownership ability and strong financial acumen.
  • A solid grasp of data analysis and vertical SaaS operational performance metrics. Experience in the accounting software, marketplace apps and/or hosting space is strongly preferred.
  • Track record of leading operational improvements in a growth-oriented environment. Strong background in strategic/product planning to drive growth and profitability. Experience leading sales, support, and produce development, functions.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong influencing skills and the ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of company employees, ranging from senior executives to other functional business leaders.
  • Experience in building partnerships to drive new logo growth, as well as identifying opportunities for cross-selling with other businesses. Ability to think creatively to find new growth avenues with an existing business and product line.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years' relevant experience with 3+ years in executive leadership positions.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading and growing a business of similar size. An excellent leader who develops their subordinates and leads by example.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the accounting software, marketplace apps and/or hosting space is strongly preferred.
