Job Description:
Our Family Broadway National, one of Inc. 5000's fastest growing privately owned companies, provides national and international Property Management services to high profile clientele throughout a wide range of businesses. Such businesses include Tech, Restaurant, Super Market, Facility Maintenance, Retail, Specialty and more. Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs
  • Managing and executing on staff succession and growth plans, along with the ability to provide an independent perspective and constructively challenge operations teams, ensuring that business decisions are grounded
  • Proactive decision-making support to all stakeholders. With the necessary leadership and communication skills, the expected VP of Operations must have the ability to give advice and counsel as well as provide a voice of reason. This includes communicating directly, relentlessly, and transparently with associates and employees
  • Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO
  • Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
  • Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met
  • Directly oversee operations and partner with the CEO on sales management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near term
  • Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining policies and procedures that support efficient and effective processes as well as maintaining strong internal controls
  • Preparation of analysis and dashboard reporting for CEO of the company, as well as propose possible solutions to any challenges or obstacles that may arise
  • Leadership of managers, supervisors, and professional staff. Understanding the business and the strategy to build strong relationships with business leaders
  • Using resource allocation to develop departmental plans, including business, production, and organizational priorities
  • Ensure satisfactory assessment and alleviation of risk as well as compliance with relevant regulatory or other legal requirements
Job Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as VP of Operations
  • Experience in Real Estate Services as well as Construction Management, Facility/Property Management, Software
  • 10 years of direct management or supervisory experience, including training and evaluation of staff.
  • Bachelor's in business administration or relevant field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Work, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, marketing, operations etc.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills to internal and external parties
  • Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic
  • Understanding of and commitment to client service
  • A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment

IND1 Pay Range: $180,000 - $250,000 per year
