Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a VP of Operations for one of our clients in the refrigeration systems and display cases. In this role you will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the daily operations of the company. Ensuring business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people. The scope of responsibilities is extensive, requiring thorough knowledge of plant operations, supply chain, finance, management just to name a few. The goal of this role is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the companys operations, facilitating accelerated development and long-term success.To start, the main objective will be to assess our clients current state and understand what they do well and what could use some tweaks or adjustments. For example, they currently have a few brand-new machines that are being underutilized, so figuring out how to optimize production for these newer machines will be key. In addition to that, you will communicate with various staff to make decisions for operational activities, set strategic, attainable goals. You will regularly evaluate the efficiency of the business procedures in line with the organizational objectives and implement improvements where needed.Additional roles and responsibilities:Managing procurement processes and coordinating the allocation of materials and resourcesReviewing financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitabilityRevising and formulating policies and procedures and promoting their implementationsManaging relationships internally and with external partners and vendors.Supervision of staff from different departments and provide constructive feedbackPlanning and monitoring the day-to-day running of the business to ensure it is running it smoothlyWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
