We see a future where flexibility and transparency are the norms, and our aim is to deliver a seamless mobile experience that redefines how people think about telecom.Role OverviewAs the VP of Operations at US Mobile, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and scaling systems and processes that support hyper-growth. You will leverage your background in management consulting and high-growth startups to lead cross-functional initiatives, optimize internal workflows, and own strategic execution. This role is highly technical, and you will be expected to demonstrate a strong command of SQL and data-driven decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & ExecutionDefine the vision, strategy, and roadmap for operational excellence, aligned with the company's long-term goals as a Super Carrier.Lead critical initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.Operational LeadershipOversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless collaboration across Product, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Support, and other teams.Develop, implement, and refine KPIs to measure and improve operational effectiveness.Data-Driven OptimizationLeverage advanced SQL skills to extract, analyze, and interpret data for actionable insights.Identify trends, diagnose performance gaps, and recommend scalable solutions.Team Management & DevelopmentBuild, mentor, and inspire a high-performing operations team, setting clear goals and expectations.Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.Project ManagementDrive cross-functional projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and resource constraints.Communicate timelines, updates, and risks effectively to stakeholders at all levels.Risk Management & ComplianceDevelop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate operational risks in a rapidly evolving industry.Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations, ensuring that the organization meets or exceeds compliance standards.QualificationsEducation & Experience7+ years of experience in a top-tier management consulting firm, with a demonstrated track record of leading complex client engagements.Proven success in a senior operations and strategy role within a high-growth startup environment.Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred but not required.Technical SkillsHigh proficiency in SQL-capable of building optimized queries and turning data into impactful insights.Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and CRM/ERP systems is a strong plus.Comfortable working with large datasets from diverse sources.Soft Skills & TraitsExceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a passion for coaching and developing talent.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Why Join US Mobile?Impact: You'll be instrumental in building the operational backbone of a next-generation Super Carrier.Innovation: We embrace creative problem-solving, bold ideas, and forward-thinking approaches.Culture: Work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on redefining the mobile experience.Growth: Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and abundant opportunities for professional development.How to ApplyIf you're ready to make a significant impact in a data-driven environment, helping to redefine mobile connectivity and shape the future of the Super Carrier, we'd love to hear from you.
