White Plains, NY Full-time $200,000.00 - $300,000.00Posted 05/09/2024Title: VP of Purchasing & InventoryLocation: White Plains, NY (near Knollwood Country Club, Yellowstone Park in Geenburgh/Fairview)For the past 110+ years we've formed long term relationships with some very well known vendors and has helped us become a leading commercial and residential roofing distributor in the Northeastern US with 20+ locations in 6 states. What you will be doing: Vendor Relationships & management: establish, foster, and maintain relationships with key material vendors. Lead vendor rebate negotiations, both company-wide and within regions. Work in tandem with accounting/finance on tracking of rebates and deals.Ensure the HQ Buying/Pricing teams, follows best practices and provides value to the company. Bulk / Tier 1 purchasing: leverage the company's buying base and cost effectively purchase items across the enterprise. Negotiate fair costs and termsProduct pricing: Maintain and establish (as necessary) list prices and price levels in coordination with market factors and zones.Product Management: communication of company-wide preferred product sales (i.e., prioritization of which vendor / item to market vs. other 'like' items). Set targets and review performance by branch. Lead and Manage the Supply Chain Division (HQ buyers & Pricing/Inventory teams).
