Job Summary and Qualifications

The Vice President, Quality promotes high quality, patient-centered care by overseeing aspects of the Quality Management/Patient Safety Program(s) and Performance Improvement programs across complex organizations (multi-site campus, service lines). The Vice President ensures the facilitation and utilization of diverse strategies and communication for quality and performance improvement, providing an integrated framework for monitoring, evaluating, and improving quality of care. The Vice President promotes performance improvement to drive care excellence and oversees the hospital regulatory and accreditation program.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelors degree in nursing or health-related field, required
• Masters degree in nursing or health-related field, preferred
• 3+ years data analysis in a healthcare setting
• 4+ years experience in healthcare quality/risk management with demonstrated leadership
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse or health professional in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation, preferred
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), required or obtained within 12 months of hire
• Certification in Healthcare Quality Management (CHCQM), required or obtained within 12 months of hire

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital is a 229-bed acute care facility accredited by the Joint Commission. Since 1983, HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital has provided quality care to the Treasure Coast community. We offer a full range of services including a birthing center, cardiac catheterization lab, cancer care, and breast center. We offer minimally-invasive and robotic surgery, general and vascular surgery. The Orthopedic and Spine Institute offers the latest in orthopedic equipment.
