Job Description:

Havas Media Group North America is seeking a VP, Performance to join the Performance Investment team, part of our global community of 10,000 team members. The VP, Performance will lead performance media strategies across social, search, and programmatic channels to drive business growth through analytical rigor and data-driven recommendations. The role involves overseeing cross-channel performance campaigns, with a focus on delivering optimized solutions for brand awareness, prospecting, and re-marketing efforts.

We are looking for a candidate who is analytical, has a strong performance background in social, search, and programmatic, and is comfortable in a fast-faced environment, balancing strategic and activation responsibilities to achieve measurable business results. The ideal candidate will manage high-level client relationships and lead the charge on conducting optimizations through advanced analytics and strategic insights. The role will report to the SVP Performance Investments at Havas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cross-Channel Performance Leadership: Oversee all performance media activity across social, search, and programmatic channels, ensuring strategic planning and optimized execution for brand, prospecting, and re-marketing campaigns.

Performance Strategy & Execution: Lead the development and execution of cross-channel media strategies for key clients, ensuring alignment with their overall marketing and business objectives, while providing insights on channel mix and budget allocation.

Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing performance team, fostering continuous learning and development in emerging media trends and optimization techniques.

Data-Driven Optimization: Use advanced analytics to assess campaign performance, generate actionable insights, and optimize performance campaigns to achieve maximum ROI.

Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering strategic direction and thought leadership that enhances performance and supports long-term business growth.

Collaboration & Integration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including analytics, investment, and media planning, to ensure performance strategies are seamlessly integrated into broader digital marketing initiatives.

Vendor & Technology Management: Maintain and establish relationships with key media technology vendors and platforms, ensuring the best tools and solutions are employed to meet performance goals.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee budget management, media buying, and reconciliation to ensure client satisfaction and profitability.

Innovation & Growth: Stay on top of industry trends in performance marketing, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation in service offerings.

New Business Development: Apply cross-channel performance knowledge to strategy sessions, particularly in new business pitches and brainstorming opportunities.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED/SKILLS:

Experience: Extensive experience in digital marketing, with a specific focus on social, search, and programmatic performance.Leadership: Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams in performance marketing.Analytical Expertise: Strong understanding of data analysis, with the ability to translate data into actionable performance insights and campaign optimization strategies.Client Management: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of managing high-level client relationships and delivering growth.Cross-Channel Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cross-channel media strategies, including programmatic platforms (DSPs, DMPs), social media tools (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn), and search marketing (Google Ads, Bing Ads).Innovation: Awareness of emerging trends in AI, CTV, and identity resolution, with the ability to integrate these innovations into existing performance strategies.
