Job Overview

VP IPSO Northeast- Philly/NJ based

This position is designed to lead, develop, deliver, and enable the realization of full market potential across the entire KDP value chain for the IPSO Northeast network orbit. This role will lead and bring to life full “end to end” ownership of executional standards across the full range of the KDP portfolio. The role will oversee and lead a high performing cross-functional team that has a growth mindset, a commitment to executional excellence, and supports the ongoing development of self and team. The role requires a comprehensive understanding/partnering mindset as it relates to cross-functional interdependencies required to deliver the AOP and overall performance promise. The role is fully accountable for delivering net revenue, volume, and operating income targets with a long-term sustainable growth mindset. The role will serve as the central voice of KDP across a diverse and multi-layered multi-brand distribution network and operate with a consultative mindset that is compulsory for success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of two divisions, five direct reports and a total team of 21 manager and above positions.
  • Provide leadership for the overall operating performance of the business; develop, monitor, and administer the operational programs within each region to ensure efficiency and profitability are achieved and maintained.
  • Provide ongoing business growth forecasting; identify industry trends; work with the Sales Directors to develop strategies for growth into new areas; highlight risks and opportunities for generating revenue and profitability growth.
  • Develop and implement business plans and cost management plans; deliver an annual revenue and profit plan for the region's business.
  • Evaluate division performance and implement strategies to improve efficiencies, safety, and quality; develop strategies for work acquisition, resource development, and implementation plans, including standardized operational processes and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with corporate functions to ensure that programs and initiatives are aligned with the business need and the corporate vision and practices.
  • Develop and deliver an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for CSD, Premium Brands, and the emerging brands portfolio. Lead and orchestrate all elements of the commercial “sell-in” for all new KDP portfolio brand families and items.
  • Recruit, develop, and bring to life a high performing cross-functional team that maximizes self/team across all elements of the value chain: Operations, Finance, Sales, Field and Trade Marketing, Key Account Development and In Store Execution Specialists. Build, develop and support talent with capabilities to deliver against current and future requirements.
  • Lead and negotiate sales contracts and market level pricing architecture that drive profitability and sales growth for our IPSO NE ORBIT customers and KDP.
  • Partner cross-functionally with National Accounts, Revenue Growth Management, Brand Marketing, Finance, HR, Licensing, Operations, and Legal to ensure optimal strategic decisions on portfolio management and realization of full market potential for KDP portfolio.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree. MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in a complex, global business, including 10 years in a leadership position in a Sales and/or customer service environment.
  • Broad functional experience encompassing business performance, commercial analysis, strategy, finance, regulatory compliance, procurement and IT.
  • Broad commercial experience covering customer and supplier negotiations, acquisitions, divestments, and strategy development, both in developed and developing markets.
  • Proven, results-driven leader with previous autonomous P&L accountability in a sales, marketing and distribution-driven organization.
