Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy:
  • Create and nurture business relationships with decision-makers at priority accounts.
  • Coach field team members on effective partnership-building with prospective customers.
  • Develop strategic, modern, outcome-based plans aligned with Workhuman's objectives.
  • Stay informed about HR industry trends, technology, competitive landscape, and people philosophies in social recognition and continuous performance development.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to define and modernize Workhuman's strategic direction.
  • Foster cohesiveness and collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, customer success and legal teams.
  • Travel as needed to customer presentations, tradeshows, Workhuman sponsored events, leadership or team meetings, etc.
  • Team Development:
  • Hire, coach, motivate and continuously develop a world-class field sales team.
  • Cultivate a sales culture reflecting values of innovation, determination, imagination, and respect.
  • Results and Performance:
  • Continuously track progress against key performance indicators, working closely with Business Operations and Sales Enablement teams.
  • Fulfill reporting and metric requirements via Salesforce.
  • Provide weekly sales forecasts to Workhuman's leadership team.
  • Achieve your annual booking goal.
  • Qualifications:
  • 15+ years leading, coaching, and building sales territory teams, with 5+ years in SaaS space.
  • Executive-level skills in complex sales strategy, development, financial structuring, negotiations, and closing new clients.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building an innovative, modern, motivated, and driven sales organization.
  • Experience selling to Human Resources professionals at all levels, in addition to partnering cross-functionally with Finance and Legal. Exceptional presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in Salesforce with a focus on data consistency and best practices.
  • Ability to recruit, lead, motivate, and coach high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven track record in driving consistent performance and growth in a mid-stage company year over year.
  • Training in Challenger sales methodology strongly preferred.
