Start your Voyage –Apply NowGet to Know the Opportunity:Reporting to the Head of ESG Investment Research, the Senior ESG Quantitative Research Analyst will apply quantitative research methods to ESG data to develop insights with proven investment value, as well as be responsible for the continuous improvement of our proprietary scoring approach. In addition to these responsibilities, the ESG Quantitative Research Analyst will create automated solutions to manage and deliver ESG information and analytics to the investment teams to support integration and meeting of regulatory and client requirements.The Contributions You'll Make:Hands-on delivery of ESG information and analytics to the investment teams, by continuing the buildout of automated and real time reporting solutions.Lead the synthesis of data, coming from multiple vendors, into our proprietary scorecard and guiding implementation through IT.Be a thought leader, spurring new ESG research ideas and continuously improving our scoring and integration process.Assist with the management and delivery of ESG information and analytics to the investment teams to support integration and regulatory requirements.Advance our ESG integration process for private asset classes, addressing challenges related to data sharing and issuer mapping.Collaborate on ESG research projects, spanning thematic screening and development of ESG quantitative insights, including factor back-testing.Stay abreast of new ESG datasets and emerging sustainability topics and trends. Assist with the vetting of new vendors.Preferred Knowledge and Experience:3 to 7 years of experience in quantitative modelling and/or full-stack development in a financial markets settingAdvanced degree in a quantitative field preferred; CFA is a plusStrong object oriented computer programming skills in Python (ideally with experience and curiosity in building Dash web applications)Very comfortable interfacing with SQL databases, flat files, data APIs, etc.Experience in applying quantitative methods to sustainability/ESG topics in an investment settingInterest and/or experience working with ESG data sets or alternative/unstructured dataFamiliarity with system architecture and cloud infrastructure to facilitate discussions with ITFamiliarity with market data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Aladdin, Factset) a plusBasic understanding of fundamental research and financial statement modelingAbility to transform raw data into insights that drive investment decisions, using data analytics, data visualization, and data modeling techniques and technologiesA curious, innovative, and creative mind with a collaborative working styles#LI-JS1Compensation Pay Disclosure:Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
