Vermont State University Online seeks an adjunct instructor to teach an Accounting course during the Spring 2025 semester between 1/21/2025-5/16/2025.The course will be taught 100% online using Canvas. The instructor is responsible for adding outcomes, academic materials, discussion and assignment that support the course description. Additionally, VTSU Online instructors are obligated to adhere to the VTSU Online Standards that address instructor presence, student engagement, instructor expectations, and assessment of student work.Course No & Name: ACC-2122-SO01: Managerial Accounting Credits: 3Course description: This course examines the use of accounting information to enhance internal decision-making and control of organizations. The major topics in this course illustrate making informed, analytic decisions based on choosing the best alternative derived from job order costing, process costing, activity-based costing, incremental analysis, budgetary planning, and variance analysis.Qualifications:For consideration, candidates must possess at least a master's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience. Experience in online teaching is required, and familiarity with Canvas desired.
