We produce one-of-a-kind catered events and unparalleled dining experiences in a variety of cultural, corporate, entertainment, and private venues throughout New York City and beyond.On-Call Banquet ServerPosition Summary:A Banquet Server is responsible for setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet events. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service to guests during events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Banquet Servers work closely with the Banquet Manager and Event Concierge to ensure all service standards and guest needs are met.Key Responsibilities:+ Setting up buffets, coffee breaks, and other food and beverage stations as per Banquet Event Orders (BEO).+ Check table settings and setups for proper alignment and completeness.+ Ensure prompt and courteous service to guests, responding to requests efficiently.+ Monitor tables and assist with clearing dishes, refilling drinks, and resetting tables as necessary.+ Communicate with banquet managers and other team members to ensure timely service.+ Handle any guest issues or concerns, escalating to the Event Concierge or Manager if necessary.+ Break down and clean up after events, including removing decorations, linens, and tableware.Experience: Previous experience in food and beverage service or in a banquet setting is preferred.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.
