We reward hard-working, caring professionals with competitive pay, great benefits and career growth opportunities.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* Daily reports to work in a clean & pressed uniform with name badge, clean & proper shoes.* Performs all needed Wait staff duties, including but not limited to, setting and cleaning tables, following station guidelines, maintains all dining room service standards. Completely serves all tables with full course in a professional, friendly and timely manner.* Serves cocktails, beer and wine to resident and guests.* Meets cleaning standards and completes all assigned duties, including all duties & functions assigned by the Supervisor.* Maintains standards of service and an orderly, safe environment.* Performs all other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Supervisor and/or the Exec. Chef /Food Service Manager.* Speaks to residents & participants in a pleasant tone and respects the rights of all residents and co-workers.* Ensures residents receive their meal in a timely manner, ensures that the meal is accurate and meets resident expectations.* Makes necessary corrections to resident meal if meal is incorrect or unacceptable* Communicates emergencies, health status, concerns, behavior problems of residents to the supervisor.* Properly takes order and communicates orders to cooks to assure proper preparation and elimination of potential waste.* As a team member, assists co-workers with all steps of service to ensure Quality Assurance standards.* Receives and communicates concerns of residents to Supervisor. Ensures great customer service is provided to residents and participants.* Reports malfunction of equipment and soiled Dining Room furnishings to the Dining Room Supervisor and/or the Executive Chef / Food Service Manager.* Attends all scheduled department meetings. Reads and adheres to all memos posted in the department.* Reliable, dependable and punctual in use of work time.* Demonstrates initiative and cooperation in professional working relationships.* Complies with applicable organizational policies and procedures ie: mandatory education, health requirement, HR requirements.* Demonstrates a commitment of quality through participation on improvement teams and identifying opportunities for improvement.* Works to improve performance relative to the system's organizational goals.* Consistently delivers high quality service being responsive to customer needs.REQUIREMENTS* High School Diploma required* Three Months customer service experience.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.WORKING CONDITIONS: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
