Job Summary The RV Walk Through Specialist is responsible for conducting comprehensive walk-throughs with customers to educate them about the features, functions, and maintenance of their RVs. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed walk-throughs with customers, explaining the operation of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
- Provide demonstrations on how to properly use and maintain RV features and accessories.
- Answer customer questions and address any concerns they may have about their RV.
- Ensure customers understand safety protocols and maintenance schedules.
- Assist with the delivery process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and reviewed with the customer.
- Provide follow-up support to customers as needed, answering additional questions and providing guidance.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all RV models and their features.
- Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Keep detailed records of walk-throughs and customer interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in RV technology.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service or technical support role, preferably in the RV or automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of RV systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computer systems and customer management software.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from the RVIA/RVDA or other relevant certifications.
- Experience with a variety of RV brands and models.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
