Position: Warehouse Supervisor- 2nd Shift Location: Phillipsburg, NJ Duration: Long-Term to Permanent Company Overview: NIPPON a leader in global trade management, partners with Integrity Staffing Solutions (ISS) to find motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join their dynamic team. Our Supervisor needs to be energetic, decisive, and engaging while managing multiple priorities in a changing warehouse environment. They are go-to, problem solvers! Supervisors are responsible for all day-to-day operations taking place on their scheduled shift.Supervisor means an employee who has authority, in the interest of the employer, to direct the work of other employees, hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, reward or discipline employees, or to adjust employee grievances, or effectively to recommend such action, if the exercise of the authority is not of a merely routine nature but requires the consistent exercise of individual judgment. Shift offered: Monday through Friday availability needed Possible overtime on Sunday Willingness to work a 10-12 hour rotating shift schedule if needed 40 hour per week commitment This is a long term role with a permanent transition option Pay Rate: $28/hour Weekly pay Transition from weekly pay to monthly pay once you become permanent Preferred Minimum Requirements Candidates residing within a 15 mile radius to Phillipsburg NJ, area highly encouraged to apply! HS Diploma or GED 3+ years warehouse lead or supervisory experience, large group experience a plus Ability to stand and walk for a 10-12 hour shift Ability to coach and counsel subordinates on production numbers and KPI's. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent Excel and Powerpoint Skills Experience with WMS Ability to make sound business decisions Ability to operate and solve problems in a fast paced, and fluid environment Ability to adjust schedule for work overtime and be present during changing business needs Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required Essential Functions

  • An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to create and interpret financial and operational reports
  • Build Relationships with Client managers through daily interaction and weekly meetings.Solicit their input of hourly associate performance and department concerns.Provide them with the guidance and support needed to ensure your partnership is contributing to their success.
  • Maintain open door policy with hourly associates, answering questions regarding policies and procedures, actively listening of concerns and issues raised, escalating issues as appropriate, and maintaining confidential conversations.
  • Coordinate and manage large group meetings for hourly associates, including Stand Up Meetings.
  • Provide performance feedback and disciplinary action to Onsite Team.
  • Communicate and audit adherence to safety and employee relations policies, investigate complaints or deviations from policy, and make recommendations for corrective action as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality, while managing workflow for company and onsite client projects.
  • Participate in site and company project teams with a focus on process improvement.
  • Good planning and organizational skills necessary to achieve business goals and to increase office efficiency
