**Starting Pay**: $15.50
**Referral Bonus:** $150 after referral completes 90 days of employment

***Job Summary***
The Receiving Associate is responsible for checking in and unloading incoming shipments. Verifying that the correct amounts and types of items were shipped. It also involves inspecting the goods in order to ensure their quality.
***Key Responsibilities Include:***
* Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
* Ensure execution of our customers fulfillment and distribution requirements, monitor and maintain proper safety and security controls, and support appropriate inventory integrity controls.
* Count items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading or other records
* Examine and unpack incoming shipments
* Safely utilize forklifts and power jacks to move warehouse materials according to proper safety instructions and as directed
* Determining work procedures, preparing work schedules and expediting workflow
* Ensuring that all employees are in compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and other company-related policies and procedures
***Supervision:***
This position is frequently supervised by the Receiving Supervisor.
***Qualifications:***
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
* Experience in the Receiving Department
***Skills Required:***

* Willingness to learn computerized scanning device
***Physical Demands:***
This position requires standing and light lifting (up to 50 pounds) for 80% of the day and stooping and heavy lifting for 20% of the day.
