Cook's Direct, Inc., located in Woodridge, Illinois, is a distributor and the reselling leader of commercial kitchen supplies and equipment for large volume foodservice operations. The Warehouse Administrative Assistant will be responsible for all administrative/computer tasks related to all departments within the distribution center.
Responsibilities will include:- Running pick tickets frequently to keep up with demand
- Printing item, package, and shipping labels for orders and matching with pick tickets
- Posting shipped orders
- Entering item and package details to build shipments
- Scanning daily receipts and shipments for electronic filing
- Receiving shipments electronically
- Reclassing inventory between locations and bins
- Entering tracking information and shipping costs
- Receiving returns
- Obtaining quotes for transportation using email and 3PL websites
- Creating Bills of Lading and shipping labels
- Sending eBay listing requests
- Initiating freight claims
- Data entry
- Record keeping
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:- Strong computer skills needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Products such as Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
- Experience with Business Central, Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, Walmart and carrier websites a plus
- Strong time management skills and multitasking abilities
- Detail oriented.
- Education level: High School Diploma or equivalent
