POSITION Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, packing and delivering daily inventory orders and non-stock items to customers and requesting departments. Also responsible for receiving, locating and stocking inbound deliveries. Also ensures that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and loss prevention.
Essential POSITION Functions:
* Pick, pack and ship daily orders from warehouse stock
* Issue inventory and receive PO's via JDE inventory system
* Unload and receive products from inbound trucks
* Locate and stock product in proper locations
* Process, package and ship orders accurately
* Organize stocks and maintain inventory
* Inspect products for defects and damages
* Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
* Organize warehouse space
* Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
* Check, verify and fill customer invoices
* Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
* Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
* Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in similar environment preferred
* High School diploma or equivalent preferred
* Computer skills including Microsoft outlook, excel and word
* Knowledge of JD Edwards and AS400 system or ability to learn the operating system
* Ability to lift, mover and deliver 50 lb boxes of material
* Intermidate/Advanced English fluency
TRAINING/EQUIPMENT:
* Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
