We are looking for a Warehouse and Parts Counter to deliver the exceptional service experience. POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position reports to the Parts Shipping Supervisor. Support Part Sales to achieve departmental goals. Pull, pack and label parts for shipment (includes boxing parts and building wood crates for shipping). Provide inventory assistance. Coordinate prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork. Drive company flatbed truck and forklift to pull material from different plants. Load LTL semi-trailers using a forklift. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Load and unload trucks via forklift.
  • Identify parts by reading labels/orders and pull parts.
  • Prepare parts orders for shipping to include all labels and bill of lading.
  • Pull, pack and label parts for shipment (includes boxing parts and building wood crates for shipping).
  • Build wood crates using various saws and air powered staple gun.
  • Responsible for Inventory accuracy and cycle counts for the Parts and Service Department.
  • Load LTL semi-trailers using a forklift.
  • Basic math skills for inventory reporting.
  • Work independently.
  • Drive Company vehicle to different plants to pull parts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communications, customer service and organizational skills.
  • AS400 experience is a plus.
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Basic computer and typing skills.
  • Excellent communications, customer service and organizational skills.
  • Familiar with Federal Express software systems.
  • Familiar with LTL freight processes.
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Basic math skills for inventory reporting.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Standing for long periods.
