Must be able to pass background check/drug screen Job Description: Preparing orders for shipments including all pertinent paperwork and scheduling involved, as well as, picking, staging, and loading of the materials. This position plays an integral role in warehouse organization, sanitation, and inventory management. This position is also expected to be a back-up for the receiving clerk when needed. The Company may, from time to time, change the nature of the employee's job responsibility. Job Responsibilities:
- Allocates specific lots on sales orders in manufacturing system that are being shipped out (making sure the lot numbers match); shipping oldest material first
- Prints picking tickets with verified lot numbers in order for product to be pulled
- Prepares shipping tickets, bill of ladings, and print labels
- Places all labels to pallets and verify all data on labels are accurate
- Work with Logistics Coordinator to schedules pickup or shipment of orders per customer instructions, abiding by specified freight terms & appointment times
- Verifies all shipments are in line with customers' orders in order to guarantee customer satisfaction
- Notifies facility management of unfulfilled scheduled shipments
- Takes pictures of product before loading for shipment
- Loads and unload trucks as needed (forklift operation); possess knowledge on proper load positioning
- Obtains freight quotes as needed
- Scans and saves all shipping packets on the network/SharePoint in an organized fashion
- Works with Logistics Coordinator to prepare international commercial invoices, NAFTA, and other documents required for shipment possessing knowledge of incoterms & harmonized tariff codes
- Being responsive to corporate reporting needs and maintain a team player attitude
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency
- Cross-train on Receiving Clerk duties
- Assists with cycle counts
- Other duties as require
- Assists with related special projects, as needed
Duties and Day-to-Day Responsibilities, but not limited to the following:
- Coordination of activities in verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing material
- Forklift operation
- Validate all data entry in the manufacturing system is accurate
- Preparation of items for shipment
- General housekeeping duties
- Scheduling daily shipments
- Monitoring and recording daily temperature and humidity levels in raw and finished goods material warehouses
- Monitor maintenance and upkeep of warehouse assigned forklift
- Wrapping and storage of finished goods materials

Minimum Training, Education, and Experience Requirements:
- Education level: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience level: At least 1-2 years forklift operation
- Required Training and/or Certifications: Forklift certification is required
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must be competent in Microsoft Suite
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to work in both an office setting and warehouse
- Must work well with others and possess exceptional communication skills
