DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse AssistantJob Type: Full-timeLocation: JacksonvilleWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and maintaining inventory levels. The Warehouse Assistant will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that all warehouse operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.Company Overview: CMS Imaging, Inc. is the premier healthcare solutions provider specializing in the sales and service of diagnostic medical imaging equipment. CMS offers a comprehensive suite of employee benefits to support our team members and their families.Responsibilities:Receive and process warehouse stock productsPick and fill orders from stockPack and ship orders to customersOrganize and maintain inventory levelsKeep track of inventory and report any discrepanciesMaintain a clean and safe working environmentOperate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacksAssist with other warehouse duties as neededComplete shipments by processing and loading ordersPrepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery areaComplete deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendorsMaintain truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairsEnforce inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requestsProvide quality service by following organization standardsPreserve safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neatPromote clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsComplete reports by entering required informationHarvest parts from decommissioned equipmentHelp keep inventory of the harvested parts by labeling and organizing in the parts catalogHelp maintain the forklift by charging the batteries and making sure the battery levels are goodShipping and receiving of parts that go in and out of the Jacksonville warehouseScrap, junk, and recycle items that come into the warehouseHelp to keep the warehouses clean and full of supplies, including vacuuming the floor and cleaning the inside office spaceContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededCMS is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
