In addition to counting parts and filling orders, you will conduct first line, basic quality assessment of parts for damage and defects.Available Shifts:Weekday 2nd Shift - Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pmWeekday 3rd Shift - Sunday night – Friday morning 10:30pm - 7:00amCompensation and Benefits:$17.65/hr (and an additional $.75 shift differential)Overtime opportunities available at 1.5x pay rateMedical, dental, vision and prescription benefits starting day 16% company match for 401kQuarterly bonus (up to 7%)Twice a year raises, based on your performance evaluation2 weeks paid vacation and paid holidays (pro-rated based on hire date)Employee Assistance ProgramGreat earning potential! You can choose a career path that best suits your skills and interests with opportunity for advancement.Job Duties/Responsibilities:•Operate heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and overhead hoists•Perform material handling and warehousing functions such as unloading, sorting, putting away, picking, packing and shipping parts, materials and supplies•Operate electronic hardware/RF units•Good attendance record and ability to work OT when required•Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed•The ability to properly perform quality checksBasic Qualifications:•Must be 18 years or older•Willing and able to be trained on heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and overhead hoists•Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures•Frequently lift parts up to 50 pounds individually•Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, walking and squatting while performing job tasks•Ability to communicate effectively and read/write documents in EnglishDesired Qualifications:•Previous warehouse experience•Previous experience with mobile equipment operation•RF utilization experience•Positive attitude•Ability to work with a team environment•Willingness to learn new processesAll eligible candidates MUST pass the following pre-employment screenings before they can be hired to Caterpillar:Background ScreeningDrug ScreeningPost-Offer Medical Questionnaire - clearance from Corporate MedicalPlease frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.
