South Salt Lake City, UT 84119-2447Flexible Shifts, Pay, and Benefits:Full time Monday - Friday 10:30am- 7:00pm or till donePart time Monday-Friday 1:00pm-7:00pm & 6:00am-12:00pm Pay starting at $20.00/hr with three raises in 12 months + $1/hour for powered industrial equipment (PIE) operators** Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage starts day one18 paid time off days and 6 company holidays per year6% 401(k) company contribution each pay periodEmployee discounts, parental leave, and moreSafety shoes providedPosition Details:The Distribution Center Associate performs warehouse responsibilities and functions to support inventory integrity, order processing - picking, packing, staging, shipping, general maintenance and housekeeping responsibilities to guarantee a safe and clean work environment. Ensure compliance with safety requirements by performing inspections and maintenance. You will role report directly to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager and have regular interaction with other DC Associates.You Will:Safely complete inbound and outbound warehouse tasks, e.g. unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, and packingEnsure products are packed and shipped correctly to exceed customers expectations for quality and delivery speedMeet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirementsOperate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirementsPerform other tasks as directed by the leadership teamYou Have:Comfortable working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stationsHigh school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of ageFrequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 poundsReceive feedback and work well in a team environmentMust pass a pre-employment drug screen & background checkFor PIE operators: operate warehouse vehicles, material handling equipment and powered industrial equipment, including Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett and Turret TruckPrevious warehouse, retail, or customer service experienceRewards and Benefits:With benefits starting day one, Grainger is committed to your safety, health and wellbeing.
