Warehouse Associate IJob LocationsUS-SC-West ColumbiaJob ID2024-2896CategoryPartsTypeFull-TimeOverviewThe Warehouse Associate I is primarily responsible for replenishing, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders including accurate verification, completion of paperwork and materials management.Warehouse Associates perform proper inventory maintenance activities using quality control steps and specified warehouse procedures. Some of the benefits of joining our team are:Competitive Pay.Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401K, profit sharing, generous PTO and paid holidays, uniforms, and much more.Exposure to world-class CAT training and development.A friendly and supportive work environment.Continuous exposure to learning and new technologies.Opportunities for advancement.ResponsibilitiesContributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission and values of BMC.Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.Read and execute parts tickets and packaging instructions accurately while recognizing distinctions between products.Use scanner equipment to scan material into inventory and onto shipment.Utilize inventory processes, warehouse locations and bin layouts to complete tickets.Pull parts in a timely and efficient manner.As required, or directed, operate forklift to transfer finished product and secure product for shipment.Inspects forklift daily prior to operation and requests preventative maintenance as required.Perform all duties in a safe manner by following safety protocols; identify and correct safety concerns in the shipping/receiving areaKeep assigned area clean and organized.Work as a member of a team.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalency required.6 months to 1 year's warehouse experience preferred.Previous RF Scanners, WM's, and VLM's RF experience preferred.Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.).Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to set priorities, professionally handle stress and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Team player, enthusiastic hard working with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required.Professional demeanor with the ability to represent Blanchard Machinery while interacting with customers.Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency and exceed customer expectations.Strong problem-solving skills, detailed-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.Working Conditions:The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside (non-climate controlled) and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury and/or hazardous materials.Requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.Seeing, reading, and writing to complete job responsibilities.Use of computers and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
