JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate I-Kits' primary responsibility is to serve the Inventory Control team by supporting the packaging of kits. This part-time position requires working less than 30 hours in one week and is not eligible for employee benefits. Hours for the role would be during 1st shift, but flexible with schedule time.
Major Responsibilities: - Responsible for stocking and staging products; performs kit assembly and packaging.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and following departmental 5S guidelines.
- Backfill other team members as required, including the shipping and receiving departments.
Other Responsibilities:
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, and bins according to predetermined sequence (i.e., Size, type, style, color, or product code).
- An RF scanner is used to enter and record records.
- Marks materials with identifying information.
- Forklift operation if needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education / Experience / Skills: - High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum one year of work experience in a production or warehouse environment
- Customer Service Oriented
- Ability to work with limited Supervision
- Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Language: English (Spanish/English) a plus Work Environment/Physical Requirements: This position is done in a Warehouse environment, typically indoors, but may require access to outdoors for work at times. The position requires a person to be able to frequently walk, stand, bend, and twist; see, hear, and talk; use fingers and hands; handle or feel controls or products. Use hands and arms to reach, hold, and carry the product. Frequently lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. is required. This position also requires a person to handle different temperatures as the Warehouse is hot in the summer and cooler in the winter. This position may also a person to stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hours.
