JOB SUMMARY Responsible for receiving, processing, and accounting of raw materials in support of Genezen. Unloading/loading of materials at docks, receiving of materials, storage of material in appropriate storage zones, preparation, and shipping to customer orders ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Pack, ship, receive, label and store materials.
  • Match incoming shipments to purchase orders and log receipts into the ERP system.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts.
  • Research inventory inaccuracies.
  • Collect and report data on Warehouse metrics.
  • Interface with internal customers regarding Warehouse policies, procedures and customer's inventory needs.
  • Provide feedback on processes and methods to increase efficiency and drive improvement.
  • Active participant in a culture that takes calculated risks to test and learn in order to make operational advancements.
  • Periodically assist in Warehouse SOP revisions.
  • Coordinate with supervisor on all warehouse activities and performance.
  • Other miscellaneous department related duties as required.
SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Adaptability required as work schedule may change based on business needs.
  • Criminal background check required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
  • High school diploma required
  • Associate Degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
ON-THE-JOB EXPERIENCE
  • 2+ years of experience in cGMP Supply Chain
  • Previous experience in materials management / ERP software preferred
SKILLS / ABILITIES
  • Strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry and cGMP
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, including following instructions and procedures (SOPs, cGMP)
  • Must be able to multitask effectively, with a high level of organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Good documentation skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to meet the following physical demands:
Work Environment
  • Regularly required to work around large machinery and typical utilities seen in pharmaceutical facilities.
  • Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; hazardous waste; and risk of electrical shock.
  • Occasionally exposed to extremely loud noise levels.
Movement
  • Frequently required to stand; sit; walk; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Lifting
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds

  • Frequently utilize close vision and the ability to adjust focus
