SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate/Driver is responsible for supporting general warehouse functions and supply chain management. This role primarily involves warehouse operations, including receiving duties, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and possess a clean driving record. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform general warehouse tasks such as receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory and storage areas.
  • Safely operate forklift equipment and other warehouse machinery.
  • Safely operate a box truck, van, or other designated vehicle
  • Ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Support efficient order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Assist in conducting periodic inventory counts and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Occasionally provide driving support for intra-company material pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Safely transport goods using company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for shipments and deliveries.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
  • Other duties as requested by business need.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Forklift certification or ability to be trained to safely operate forklift equipment.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is expected.
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED FOR POSITION:
  • 1-3 years of experience in receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting.
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and processes.
  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Experience with inventory management systems or software.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office applications.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES REQUIRED FOR ROLE:
  • Forklift Certification
  • Active non-CDL Driver License

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to access products on the floor or low shelves; and may operate a hand truck, pallet jack to move materials. The employee is occasionally required to access products on floor or low shelves; and may operate a hand truck, pallet jack or forklift with up to a 19.5-inch step up (if certified to operate a forklift). Specific vision abilities required by this job include acuity in color vision, close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift, move (in some cases drag items), slide, raise and/or place:
  • Pallets from floor onto its side, move up to 10 feet and return to original position at a weight up to 50 lbs.
  • Cartons onto a cart to move materials within the fulfillment areas.
The employee must frequently lift, move (in some cases drag items), slide, raise and/or place:
  • Boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. from 5 inches off the ground up to 36 inches high and return to original position.
