BrandDescription 1-800-Flowers.com is looking for a warehouse employee who will be responsible forthe loading or unloading of supplies from all delivery trucks,checking in of all flowers that are delivered every week, and putting away of all supplies.The warehouse employee will also keep all areas of the facility clean and safe from any debris.The Warehouse person needs to be flexible and be willing to drive when needed. Essential Duties Responsibilities:
- Must be able to stand for an extend period
- The cooler must be kept clean and organized
- Capable of working under pressure and good organizational skills.
- Good Communicational skill necessary.
- Must be Flexible and willing to work longer hours during Holidays and on weekends.
- Make sure that facility and restrooms are kept clean and organized.
- Assist in other departments when necessary
- Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds.
- Must have a clean driver record.
- Must be able to make deliveries when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to work in hot and cold temps for extended periods of time.
- Able work on one's feet for long periods of time.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good math skills.
- Able to receive and give directions to get the job completed.
- Floral/florist experience a plus.
- Bi-lingual a plus.
- Clean driver record.
- Able to work flexible/additional hours and weekends during Holidays and peak seasons.
