Job Description Overview

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for full-time Warehouse Associates!

The Warehouse Associate works collaboratively as a part of our operations team, ensuring that our product meets quality standards and arrives where it needs to.

Paid-training is provided. Preference will be given to candidates with the most relevant experience. This includes, but is not limited to, furniture handling and assembly; and stand-up forklift driving experience.

Pay: $18-$20 / hour depending on experience.

Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive a stand-up forklift daily
• Complete monthly inventory control count of product in warehouse
• Stage furniture for loading
• Load and unload furniture
• Remove and return furniture from warehouse racks using warehouse equipment
• Clean and repair furniture as needed

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation
• Safely drive and operate a stand-up forklift

• High school diploma or GED; or 3 months related warehouse experience and/or training

• Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis or 100 pounds with a partner
• Able to operate equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks
• Must pass background checks and drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
