Overview:
Dayshift opportunity for a warehouse associate to load and unload items, track inventory, sort materials, pack items for shipping, and check customer orders for accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Move inventory and materials throughout the warehouse including Singer Store
- Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care
- Process inventory for deliveries/pickups
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location
- Package items and label correctly
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
- Stack and organize large bulk items
- Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse
- Prepare products for shipping and/or delivery
- Move materials from storage to pick-up area or other locations
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards
- Keep warehouse premises neat and clean (indoors and outdoors)
- Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory
Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities:
- 3 to 5 years Warehouse experience.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as manual and electric palletjacks as well as forklifts
- Computer experience, data entry, scanning technology.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, reach, squat and bend during assigned shift
- Pass physical exam and other clearances
