We are looking for a Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of order packaging, included, but not limited to, specific customer requirements, product preservation, productivity, schedules, and facilities. Also responsible for all aspects of pre-receipt, included, but not limited to, specific purchase order requirements and part preservation. This includes coordination between other departments in meeting the company's goals and objectives. Responsibilities:
  • Works directly or indirectly with customers to assess their delivery needs
  • Strives to obtain products from our suppliers to meet client specifications
  • Work directly with customers to assess their needs and requirements to facilitate a successful quotation for the customer's consideration
  • Establish methods and procedures to ensure productivity is maintained at an optimum level. Removes obstacles, allows for, and contributes needed resources, coordinates work efforts, and monitors progress.
  • Ensure that the facility and equipment are maintained in a safe and clean condition
  • Asserts ideas and persuades others; builds effective teams committed to company goals, uses team to address relevant issues
  • Drives for results and success; conveys a sense of urgency; pursues goals and works to achieve them
  • Demonstrates principled leadership and sound business ethics
  • Conveys information and instructions clearly and effectively
  • Removes obstacles, allows for, and contributes needed resources, coordinates work efforts, and monitors progress. Always puts first things first
  • Schedules appointments and office meetings as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school education or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of shipping and receiving experience in the aerospace industry is preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable in OEM and general aerospace business environment is preferred.
  • Has knowledge of packaging practices and procedures.
  • Must have working knowledge and understanding of aircraft parts and aerospace
  • Computer savvy with ability to learn and work within company proprietary software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Demonstrates strong customer service attitude and demeanor
  • Solid communication skills, verbal and written
  • Organized and has efficient time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work interdepartmentally
  • Demonstrates strong customer service attitude and demeanor
  • Additional skills in shop floor scheduling, quality management, and etc.
