Job Description
- Moves materials and supplies to and from workstations to ensure materials and supplies are kept up with production schedules.
Essential functions:
- Follow Safety Regulations and Work Rules handbook along with all departmental specific safety requirements.
- Move materials and supplies in and out of departments as indicated on routing ticket by using a hand truck or other devices.
- Communicates material and supplies needs to manufacturing and supervisory personnel.
- Read and follow the information on work instructions.
- Sort and stack incoming material and supplies and re-stack material and supplies before being transported.
- Maintains material and supplies records as required.
- Operate forklifts pallet jacks and pull behind, hoist.
- Record data either manually or by computer as required.
- Maintain quality and productivity requirements.
- This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED).
Equipment Used:
- Forklift pallet jacks, walk behind, and hoist.
