The Warehouse Associate manually moves stock and other materials as well as performs general labor as needed related to the operations of the Warehouse. Education/ Experience: High school diploma (or equivalency) plus at least 2 years of practical experience. Responsibilities:

  • Move stock or other materials to and from storage, production areas, loading docks and delivery vehicles by hand trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
  • Support all shipping / receiving needs.
  • Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
  • Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
  • Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
  • Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
  • Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers.
  • Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.
Detailed Work Activities:
  • Clean facilities or work areas.
  • Schedule pickup / shipment with various carriers.
  • Load shipments, belongings, or materials.
  • Mark materials or objects for identification.
  • Monitor cargo area conditions.
  • Move materials, equipment, or supplies.
  • Operate packing or other material processing equipment.
  • Package materials or products.
  • Receive information or instructions for performing work assignments.
  • Sort materials or objects for processing or transport.
Qualifications:
  • Basic familiarity with office productivity software (Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Web Browser, etc.)
  • Successful candidates are resourceful individuals who will always be looking for opportunities to make processes more efficient.
  • Ability to cooperate with others to give and receive information both verbally and in writing / via email.
  • Ability to apply knowledge and work independently as needed.
