Work Schedule Shift 1: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., plus mandatory overtime as needed.
Work Schedule Shift 2: 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., plus mandatory overtime as needed.
General Description This position is responsible for all job-related tasks associated with the Warehouse including but not limited to; Small Parcel Shipping, Outbound Truck Shipping, Material Issuing, Receiving, Extrusions and Material Handling.
Principle Responsibilities: Small Parcel Shipping - Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing and weighing the materials ordered, and processing the shipment with the delivery service.
- Prepare domestic and international small parcel shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications.
Outbound Truck Shipping - Pack, consolidate, band and wrap product to be shipped.
Material Issuing - Obtain Material Issuing sheets from manufacturing. Highlight needed parts, pull parts from the storage racks, place parts in the staging area, enter parts in the material requirements planning system (MRP).
Receiving - Unload incoming freight using manual and power material handling equipment.
- Obtain packing slip, count and verify delivered product, enter product in MRP system and tag product.
Material Handling - Transport materials in the warehouse and plant areas using various manual and power material handling equipment. Perform daily maintenance of power material handling equipment.
Extrusions - Unload extrusions and pultrusions off the delivery truck using manual and power material handling equipment.
- Count, receive and tag the delivered material. Enter PO's in MRP system and transfer material to storage racks.
- Wrap, bundle and count the extrusions and pultrusions being returned to the warehouse storage racks.
All - Process and track orders in Mac Pac, UPS World Ship, and Fed Ex Ship Manager systems.
- Cycle count: Physically count material to verify inventory, record and submit information.
- Assist in keeping warehouse inventory consolidated and organized.
- Ensure that safety guidelines are met with respect to material handling equipment, storage racks, and packing of materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and maintain equipment in proper condition.
- Participate in safety trainings and ensure compliance of all Company safety standards.

Qualifications/Skills - Ability to count, track, verify and record information accurately.
- Ability to perform well in all areas of the warehouse.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks.
Education and Work Experience - 3 to 5 years warehouse experience with a good working knowledge of industry standards.
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
Computer Skills - Proficient in UPS World Ship and Fed Ex Ship Manager systems.
- Computer Literate, ability to use Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and AS400/Mac Pac.
Certificates & Licenses - Valid Driver Operators License.
- Maintain MDI Qualified Drivers' Licenses for powered material handling equipment including, a narrow aisle reach truck (Raymond), counterbalanced forklift, and four-dimensional reach truck.
Physical Demands/Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and to use hands and arms to move parts. The employee is frequently required to walk, and is occasionally required to stoop or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
