We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Available Immediately Upon Hire: Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, EAP, ID Theft, 401K, and PTO. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: The Warehouse Associate is to assist with the flow and process of incoming and outgoing shipments. The Warehouse Associate will also be assisting with the overall production of the warehouse in accordance with production and shipping/receiving needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with the loading/unloading of incoming/outgoing freight when needed.
  • Accurately fulfilling customer orders and loads safely and efficiently.
  • Ensures all shipments are properly counted, marked, labeled, and stickered.
  • Assists in cycle counts for all necessary inventory audits.
  • Proactively organizes and locates Finished goods and Raw materials within the warehouse.
  • Maintains Supplies and Inventory in accordance with company needs.
  • Maintains the facility equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • Operates cleaning equipment and cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Safely operates the forklift to transfer raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Safely operates the wrapping machine to ensure the product is secure and safe to transport.
  • Accurately fulfill internal production orders and items as needed.
  • Performs various tasks in the ERP system.
  • Drives or operates a box truck as needed or assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL/SKILLS NEEDED:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with coworkers, customers, truck drivers, and vendors.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work productively alone or as a part of a larger group.
  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and other business-related software.
  • Familiarity with computerized warehousing systems is preferred.
  • Current or prior forklift certification/experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-functional, and multitasked inventory environment.
  • Must be able to do basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Must be able to do basic measuring and weighing of products
  • Knowledge of Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification is a plus.
  • Experience with inventory control is a plus.
  • Experience driving and operating a box truck a plus
  • English comprehension including speaking, reading, and writing is required for our business's necessity to ensure a safe and effective work environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Can meet DOT background check standards (if required to be a non-CDL DOT driver)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • May require the employee to frequently lift and/or carry up to thirty (30) pounds
  • May be required to infrequently lift up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Required to stand, sit, or walk for an entire shift
  • Requires frequent pushing and pulling up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Requires infrequent repetitive motion
  • Requires bending, twisting, stooping, and squatting
  • Must be able to work in various indoor temperatures including elevated heat, humidity, and cold
  • Infrequently exposed to elevated noise levels which occur below OSHA thresholds
  • Exposure to various spices and food manufacturing smells throughout a work shift.
  • Requires frequent visual quality control observations
  • Ability to climb up and down a step stool ladder
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment [PPE]
  • Required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices [GMPs]
  • Can meet DOT physical requirements (if required to be a non-CDL DOT driver)
  • Exposure to food allergens such as, but not limited to, milk eggs, tree nuts, wheat, and soybeans will occur.
