With our best-in-class product and services portfolio and our massive scale, there are endless opportunities for you to build your career with us.A Day in The Life of a Warehouse AssociateAs a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for performing warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as general maintenance of assigned areas. You may also serve as a backup Driver operating a box truck to transport cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. * Must have a Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.Complete log sheets and handle inbound shipmentsVerify supplier returns and enter order receiptsRelocate and consolidate materialPrepare and assemble packing listsPack, label, wrap, and load outbound trucksDrive a truck with capacity up to three tons and usually six wheels to transport materialsLoad, secure, verify, and unload cargoPrepare delivery scheduleDeliver materials to locations designated by the customerObtain customer's signature for proof of delivery and help to unload truckPerform the duties of Warehouse Associate when not driving the truck and making deliveriesWhat's in it for YouWesco is not just a job, but a company where you can learn, develop, and build your career!
