Job Title: Shipping and ReceivingJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining inventory control.ResponsibilitiesExamine inventory coming in and out and compare with records, invoices, etc.Verify orders and invoices for accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.Prepare documents, work orders, and shipping orders to route materials.Document and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.Deliver or route materials to departments using work devices such as hand trucks, conveyors, or sorting bins.Perform basic math computations as needed.Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, and postage meters.Essential SkillsExperience with warehouse shipping and receivingKnowledge of warehouse inventory and inventory controlOrder pulling and packaging skillsProficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scannersForklift operation and certification or ability to trainExperience with ERP systems and data entryComputer skills including experience with FedEx and UPS World Ship systemsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDSuperior organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skillsWhy Work Here?We pride ourselves on our core values, which include maintaining a positive mindset, fostering ingenuity, being accountable, doing the right thing, staying engaged, and prioritizing safety. The dress code includes steel-toed boots and eyewear. The shift is 2nd Shift - 4:30 pm to 3:00 am, Monday through Thursday, technically finishing on Friday morning at 3 am.
