The Warehouse Associate will safely operate a forklift and maintain an orderly warehouse.Load and unload trucks with materials to be shipped out or returning from jobsites.Scrap and waste material handling.Operate Forklift as needed.Collecting and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay.Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.General warehouse housekeeping.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or equivalent.1 year of warehouse experience preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.Good communication skills, both written and oral.Basic skills such as inspection, math and reading.Ability to work overtime occasionally as needed.Ability to successfully pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Report.Knowledge of materials and tools used in the electrical industry preferred.Forklift Operator certification preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis job operates in a warehouse environment and is exposed to weather conditions.Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) per warehouse requirements, including but not limited to, hard toe work boots, safety glasses, gloves and, high visibility vest.This role occasionally uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.Employees are frequently required to sit, stand, and occasionally required to bend, kneel, reach, stoop, or crouch.This position may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.COMPENSATION & CULTURE100% Paid Insurance: Our health, dental, and vision plans are 100% employer paid.
