This job is based at the ENGEL North American Headquarters located in York, PA.** This position offers a $1 shift differential due to the shift timings**Job Summary: This position is a key warehouse team member responsible for heavy order picking for our large warehouse. This person will be receiving and pulling customer parts and inventory for national and international shipments and must be able to handle both small and oversized parts. This is a fast-paced environment in a warehouse setting with a hard-working team.This shift is from 9:30AM to 6:00PM Monday-Friday.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick customer parts (large, small, oversized) from our warehouse racking and put together orders for national and international shipments.
  • Use pallet jack, forklift, high reach, etc. to pull items - some small (box shipments) and large, which may require building crates for shipment.
  • Track shipping orders by checking in internal computer system (SAP) and coordinating and working with vendors.
  • Work within a team to assist with any/all inventory projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor.
Educational/Training Requirement:
  • High School Diploma required.
Experience and Abilities:
  • Minimum one (1) year of inventory/warehouse experience in a picking-style position.
  • Good overall computer skills with the ability to learn new programs for shipping/receiving as needed.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred but not required.
  • Experience using a forklift, pallet jack or high reach preferred but will train/certify regardless
  • Willingness to work some overtime, and up to 2 Saturdays per month during busy season.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Will be working on feet 8-10 hours a day.
  • Work hours are from 9:30AM to 6:00PM Monday-Friday
