Warehouse Associate IShift Details:Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMSome Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PMRequired Footwear:Steel or composite toe shoes are required for this position.About the Role:As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring freight is efficiently processed and delivered to where it needs to go. You'll work alongside a skilled management team with deep knowledge of the transportation industry, helping to ensure smooth operations within our warehouse.Key Responsibilities:Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders with sales orders.Distribute orders to sales associates for processing.Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.Maintain a safe and accessible warehouse environment for both employees and customers.Adhere to safety protocols and policies, ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe manner.Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.Handle check calls from drivers to ensure timely deliveries and validate load data for accurate accounting.Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, ensuring that all loads arrive on time and in good condition.Qualifications and Skills:Basic written and verbal communication skills.Basic computer proficiency.Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends based on fluctuating freight volumes.Previous experience in a dock or warehouse environment is a plus.Experience with loading/unloading trailers and using handheld scanners.Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions and apply critical thinking.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds.Ability to load and unload trucks as part of daily tasks.Why Join Us:In this role, you'll be supported by a passionate, fast-paced team that thrives on innovation and delivering outstanding service to our customers.
