Our client, a leading warehousing and logistics company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse team supporting the daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be a team player, and possess excellent communication skills.Job Title: Warehouse AssociateLocation: Freeburg, ILPay Range: $21/hrWhat's the Job?Read schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or forklift.Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.Take care of routine maintenance and keep the work area clean and neat.What's Needed?Possess and able to use inspection equipment to ensure the quality of the parts being produced.Must be equipped with all required tools to perform the functions of their job.Physically able to do the work requiring frequent standing, bending and lifting up to 20 lbs. frequently and 40 — 60 lbs. occasionally, following company safety requirements.Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machine and inspect parts.Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.HS diploma or equivalentWhat's in it for me?Competitive pay rate of $21/hrOpportunity for growth and advancement within the companyHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with company matchPaid time off and holiday payIf this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
