You'll handle theebb and flow of products as they enter and leave the facility and dive into inventory management for a leader in industrial distribution. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Managing and maintaining branch inventoryReceiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventoryMaking local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessaryMaintaining a clean and safe work environmentPerforming other duties as needed to ensure branch successREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:The qualifications for this position include:18 years of age or older, due to the nature of workPossess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is locatedProficient written and oral communication skillsProficient computer skillsAbility to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilitiesHighly motivated, self-directed, and customer service orientedAttention to detail and strong sense of urgencyAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentDemonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamworkLift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbsPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Previous experience receiving, shipping, sorting, or managing inventoryTRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:Our mission within Fastenal's School of Business is to maximize the potential of each employee by providing efficient, effective, and engaging learning opportunities to drive improved work performance.
