Job Description:
PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accuracy of all shipping and receiving materials, keeping assembly supplied with materials and ensuring transactions are completed in a timely manner. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for putting away product. A safe and clean workstation is to be maintained at tall times. SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Pick and organize jobs for Assembly, accurate system transactions and distributing.
  • Process all customer requests in timely, accurate manner; i.e. work order kitting, sales order requests, rejected material processing, support to quality, cycle count requests.
  • Ensure material is properly marked with relevant information, including part number, quantity and date received.
  • Develop, improve, and follow standard work.
  • Participate and lead cross-functional team projects that support the enhanced use of Revision's ERP system.
  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customer traffic.
  • Wearing the proper safety equipment.
  • Opening bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program and/or completing proper paperwork.
  • Assist with receiving duties; i.e unload trucks, sign for freight, sort mixed materials.
  • Place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined storage procedures.
  • Prepare parcels for shipment; verify counts, move, wrap, band pallets.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist in counting of inventory.
  • Assist in completing root cause, corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop work instructions for their area.
  • Occasional coverage for shipping/receiving duties. Cross training required.
  • Forklift Operation
  • Other duties/tasks that may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skill & Experience Requirements
  • Current or previous Forklift operator license required. Revision will train and maintain certification.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 6 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Must be good with numbers and capable of writing legibly.
  • Ability to work with minimum of supervision, including prioritizing of work.
  • Military experience is a plus.
  • Syteline MRP experience a plus.
  • U.S. Government authorization required.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Must regularly lift and move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work required.
