To learn more about SVF, please visit our website at www.svf.net. POSITION INFO: Caring for and maintaining an accurate inventory. Counting, measuring, and qualifying incoming shipments. Process receipts according to the receiving procedures and instructions through SAP and Receiving Inspection Log. Stocking, order picking, disposing of return to stock items, segregating non-conforming material. Beginning rate of pay: $20.00/hr. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow policies and SOP's as well instruction from Operations lead.
- Maintain Receiving Inspection Log.
- Inspects condition of parts based on inspection receiving levels and instructions.
- Unloading shipments from vendors, suppliers and customers inbound to SVF as well as alerting Operations Support of their arrival using material handling equipment if necessary.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory and stocking shelves.
- Pulling orders according to priority and conveying material to Production Department
- Assisting with Shipping Dept. when required
- Preparing inventory for end of year audit/Cycle counting
- Cleaning and general maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned by Operation Lead and or Inventory Specialist
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in warehouse and receiving necessary and must be able to manage multiple activities.
- Computer experience.
- SAP experience as it relates to inventory & receiving.
EDUCATION:
- H/S diploma and/or equivalent.
- Valid forklift license.
TRAINING AND SKILLS:
- Read, and populate documents (MS Word, Excel).
- Using and training others in the use of shop tools, measuring equipment, testing equipment and related procedures.
- Knowledge of assembly and standard production practices.
- Knowledge of the ISO9001:2015 standard as it relates to the receiving inspection process.
- Self-prioritize and organize work for completion in a timely manner.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
- Must be willing to work extended hours to ensure all job requirements are fulfilled.
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, and handling of materials.
